CYCLING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING

For cyclists and mountain bikers, the Dolomites offer a true paradise – majestic passes, thrilling descents, and unforgettable trails.

DAY TRIPS IN THE AREA

Among the most famous events are the Giro d'italia and the Maratona dles Dolomites. The route of the Giro passes some years Colle Santa Lucia on the way to the Passo Giau. This pass with its impressive views is one of the toughest climbs in the Maratona.

The organized Maratona dles Dolomites is a true challenge for amateur cyclists, taking participants over some of the most famous mountain passes. If the Maratona feels too demanding, the Sella Ronda Bike Day in June and September offers a great alternative.

For those who prefer to plan their own routes, Casa Tie is an excellent starting point for day trips along Passo Giau, Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Valparola, Passo Staulanza, Passo Duran, and many more.

The Val Fiorentina also offers an extensive network of mountain bike trails, including the Tour dell’Uomo di Mondeval, Strada della Vena, and Al Cospetto del Civetta. One of the most challenging mountain bike routes in the Alps, the Transalp route, passes almost directly by the house.
